Perfect Taste Catering And Events is always happy to hear from energetic, experienced food service professionals who are cheerful, dependable, team conscious workers. You must be neat and well groomed and must own proper professional attire: white tux shirt with black bow tie, tux trousers or tailored black slacks, black socks and black well-shined shoes - no canvas or open shoes.
We look for sunny personality, top tier catering experience, and a knowledge of banquet set ups and table service. You should know the importance of always doing a good job and working as a member of a client centered team. Having a responsible work ethic and a spirit of cooperation is important.
A personal recommendation from a current employee of our company is very desirable since every one of our long-time team members is committed to carrying a fair share of the work load. Our staff is made up of fun people who enjoy doing a great job.
All new employment applicants must have a minimum of one year of professional foodservice experience. Please be able to verify your employment with one or more currently operating (properly licensed) foodservice companies within the last two years. Since knowledge of fine dining table service is required of our waiters and bartenders, fast food or take out food jobs are not sufficient experience.
If you're accepted for employment at Perfect Taste, you will be contacted for a phone interview. You will then be asked to attend a brief but mandatory orientation session for all "New Hires." These are usually held monthly.

Other Facts Important to You
We do our best to plan carefully, and thus prevent the atmosphere of confusion that is prevalent in many poorly run catering companies.
Most events will include a meal break for staff. Food is provided and the staff remains on "paid time" during the meal breaks.
Your starting pay will be dependent on your level of experience and skills. We are known for our fair pay and good working conditions.
We adhere to all California wage and labor laws so you will always be paid properly whenever overtime is involved. Paydays fall on the 15th and the last day of each month. Allow four working days for checks to be processed and mailed to you.
If you are hired, government agencies may require that we make copies of documents such as:
- A valid California Driver's License, or
- U.S. Military Card OR Social Security Card, or
- Birth Certificate, or
- U.S. Passport
We may also accept an Unexpired INS work authorization.
These items are subject to verification and will be checked.
Last, but not least
Perfect Taste works hard to maintain a pleasant workplace and cooperative attitudes with all levels of staff. Perfect Taste also enforces a strict policy of NO SMOKING — NO DRINKING — NO DRUGS either before or during hours of employment. Failure to abide by this rule constitutes grounds for immediate dismissal.
